Salty, operated by VIZLAI LTD., maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This applies to all users, all content, and all activity on the platform regardless of whether the app is used by adults only.
Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) includes any content or behaviour that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children — including grooming, sextortion, trafficking of a child for sexual purposes, or any other form of sexual exploitation of a minor. A minor is defined as any person under the age of 18.
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is any visual depiction, including photographs, videos, and computer-generated imagery, involving a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct. CSAM is illegal under the laws of Bulgaria, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the vast majority of jurisdictions worldwide. VIZLAI LTD. does not permit CSAM on the Salty platform under any circumstances.
The following conduct is strictly prohibited on Salty and will result in immediate account termination and, where required by law, reporting to the relevant authorities:
- CSAM of any kind — uploading, sharing, distributing, or soliciting any content that constitutes child sexual abuse material, in any format
- Grooming behaviour — attempting to build a relationship with a minor for the purpose of sexual exploitation or abuse
- Sextortion — coercing or threatening a child to obtain sexual content or other benefits
- Sexual exploitation — trafficking, recruiting, or facilitating the sexual exploitation of a minor in any way
- Sexualised content involving minors — creating, sharing, or distributing any content that sexualises a person under the age of 18
- Attempting to contact minors — using Salty to seek out or communicate with users who are or may be under the age of 18 for any sexual purpose
VIZLAI LTD. complies with all applicable child safety and child protection legislation including:
The Bulgarian Child Protection Act (Закон за закрила на детето) and related regulations under Bulgarian law. The EU Directive 2011/93/EU on combating the sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children and child pornography. The requirements of the GDPR as they relate to the processing of personal data of minors. Applicable national legislation in the United Kingdom including the Sexual Offences Act 2003 and the Online Safety Act 2023. The mandatory reporting requirements of the PROTECT Our Children Act (United States) as applicable to service providers with actual knowledge of CSAM.
